This is a new shock Ed Crutchfield is working on. It has the same travel as the original 1" oversized shocks but it is stock length. I should have a set to try on my 800 this spring......thanks Ed.

Crutchfield also has released a new lower priced "economy minded" shock.

A set of front shocks for $425 a pair or a full set front and rear for $795

Front shocks are on the way. Rears shouldn't be too far behind them

got my rears from Crutchfield yesterday. I am enjoying them so far. The reason i bought them was because my stocks were bending, and bagged out. Reason i am assuimg is because of my two up box and me sitting on the back while my son drives. Looking at purchasing the front adjustable struts. Very happy so far.

Tighten them up some if you can. If nothing else, Ed can send you stiffer springs for them. Mine are still sitting in the box.
I have had no time to put them on. Hopefully soon. This is my 4th set of Crutchfield shocks. 06-800 Outy, 07-Rene 800, 08-RZR and now my 09-800 Outy.
While I have really liked them on the Can Ams, I did not like them on my RZR. I felt the stock shocks set a max adjustment gave a better ride and a bit more clearance too.

Depending on the spring weight you have, it could make a huge difference. Personally I like a softer ride but with no bottoming or roll. I would try 1 inch first but if you like a stiffer ride, go all the way up.....

I went with the 1 inch like you suggested.  It was a huge difference with the box on.  It was alot more controlable. It is a ride that i really like an add bonus my wife came for a quick ride with me and being my machine is not a proper two up, what an absolute awesome ride. thanks for the suggestion. I never bottomed out with the two of us on awesome ..... i'am very please with the money spent
